It is indeed a historic and important speech, no one has ever dared verbalized the pain of both black and white Americans as they both grapple with the legacy of slavery and segregation. Obama being half white, half black can walk the tight rope of race on both sides. Talk radio is alight with callers both white and black verifying Obama's sentiments and there is agreement especially on most black radio stations that this speech maybe equal to MLK 's "I have dream " speech in importancy and advancing racial harmony in America.
